You do a good job at showing scenery, some tubers think we only want to see their faces and nothing else. No, we want to see the scenery too–that's why I am tuning in from half way around the world; if I wanted to look at a human faces talking for an hour, I'd look out the window. So, your videos are a perfect balance of scenery and narrator.

I used to do this when I lived in Tokyo! I loved walking around Tokyo in the early morning right before the first train. I used to go jogging pretty early as well. A great way to see the city.

Thank you so much for the trip around the royal palace….I always hoped someone would do it ❤️ love the sunrise walks, my favorite time to travel. Lmao (sorry) that you had such a hard time finding a vending machine, enjoyed the bike ride, hope you do more.

I lived in Japan (Tokyo/Okinawa) for 4 years, and in the process of moving back now (wife is Japanese) I LOVE early morning Tokyo, cant wait to walk the streets again and watch the city wake up.

I am hoping that travel is available in April 2021. I was going to go to Japan April 2020 but that didn’t happen.

Hi Norm I just wanted to say these early morning streams are way too early for me but I watch them afterwards! It gives me my dose of Tokyo street strolls which I have not been able to do myself this year. So thanks!

Nice walk around the Palace! Around 40 minutes in, you walk past one of my favorite hotels in Tokyo, from which on a clear day, you can get The Imperial Palace moat, The National Diet Building, and Tokyo Tower in the same picture.

Hi Norm, thanks for the early morning live streams, I've been really enjoying them. On a couple of occasions my wife and I have rented mamacharis from a bike parking place at Asakusa then explored along the Sumida river and around Asakusa. Last time we did it, we also ventured over to and around the Skytree. These bike rides have been some of my best experiences in Japan. Wherever you decide to go for the ride, I'll be looking forward to it.

Great stuff Tokyo Lens! 5am is a good time to cycle around the Imperial Palace as there are a lot less cars and the heat is more bearable than later in the day.

Totally agree with you about eating out at the moment. I've cycled about 30km around Tokyo today through Harajuku, Yoyogi Park & Nakano and haven't been to a restaurant for months. I did go to a stand up udon bar and was done in a few minutes. Hope to have some videos up soon and thanks for the inspiration to show people more about Tokyo.

Be careful for delivery services, I see a lot of the Uber guys gathered outside of the Shinjuku McDonalds that had a covid-19 case, all close together no masks & zero social distance.
