St. Petersburg gave our team a sunny Florida welcome. Who else has had a taste of the Tampa Bay treatment?

Is there a strong local presence or does it feel more like a tourist attraction?

I live in Orlando but always spend time in St Petersburg and it's beaches. The art scene is incredible. Check out the 2nd Saturday Art Walks to get a good taste of the art scene there. Stop by Gulfport and enjoy its quaint ambiance. As for the beaches, Treasure Island and shopping/dining of John's Pass are top notch. You really cannot go wrong anywhere in the St.Pete area. There's a ton of history and adventure all year round.
