Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny was discharged from a Berlin hospital as his condition continued to improve. He was airlifted to Germany last month after an alleged ‘Novichok’ poisoning during a trip to Siberia.

Navalny’s condition has “improved sufficiently” for him to be moved out of acute inpatient care, the Charite clinic treating him said, adding that doctors believe that “complete recovery is possible.”

Navalny was previously removed from a medically-induced coma and taken off the ventilator. He resumed posting on social media and sharing photos of himself in the clinic.
