New Zealand to send security delegation to Pakistan next month

Karachi: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) will send security delegation to Pakistan as the Kiwis are scheduled to play limited-overs matches this year, reports suggested.

According to details, a team of experts will visit next month after which NZC will confirm the tour. Australian security consultant Reg Dickinson will visit and assess security measures for the matches in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

It must be noted that Black Caps haven’t toured Pakistan since 2003. They have to play three-match ODI series and as many T20Is in September and October.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has offered NZC for additional two T20Is for the preparation of upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in UAE in October/November.
