National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf says the international community must move forward in consultation with the new government in Kabul.
In his article published in an American Journal “Foreign Affairs”, he said the international community should play a positive role for ensuring peace and stability in the world.
The Adviser said detachment from Afghanistan is not an option for Pakistan. He said peace in Afghanistan is essential for connectivity with Central Asia.
Moeed Yusuf said Pakistan has paid a heavy price for the US war on terror. He said more than 50 militant groups were generated in the result of this war that targeted Pakistan for cooperating with US.
He said even today we are hosting more than four million Afghan refugees.
